i'm not really sure if there's been a large amount of blind parrents to adopt, i'm not sure of any, i mean, i'm sure blind parrents have adopted, I just don't know any. and we feel verry alone. I was hoaping to find someone, any one, who's adopted or knows someone who's adopted, or even knows of a comunity or board or websight for blind parrents who've adopted. any information would help. we're at a verry tough part, we have the homestudy in 1 week and my knees are nocking. any one adopted??
Hello there, I did some googling. It looks like the nfb may be of some help. Maybe a woman named Susan Ford? If I'm reading correctly, she began a blind parents group, that I think has to do with adopting as well.
Hopefully you'll get some response from zone parents on here. *smile*
